Your DIY Home Spa Guide

We would all love to experience a luxury break in a fabulous 5 star spa hotel but the reality is we might not always be able to afford it or have the time to get away but why should we miss out on the relaxation?  If you want to create a tranquil space and indulgence in some me time without the big price tag then keep reading…. I have put together the ultimate DIY home spa guide to give you a touch of luxury and much needed chill out time.


Shopping List

So before we can get started you will need to ensure you have a few essentials and a few little luxuries to get the most out of your experience.

    Checklist

Environment: A spa is all about stimulating the senses but relaxing the mind, traditionally a spa involves water and soothing sounds but also luxury and extreme relaxation and amazing treatments. So to recreate this at home you will need to ensure you eliminate distributions so get the kids to bed early or better yet babysitter :-) turn off the mobile, find some relaxing music (recommend: Spotify app for spa music to set the scene) dim the lighting and get some led candles as they are safer as you're relaxing and look just like the real thing. Set the mood with a nice aroma to soothe the soul (recommend: Neom organic lifestyle products in the De -Stress range they have room mists, reed diffusers, candles and lots more)

Refreshments: Something to keep you hydrated and nourished as you relax.

Treatments: The easiest and best DIY home treatments include:

>Foot soak with fresh flowers followed by file and polish on the toes.

>Hair mask treatment

>Face mask and cold eye pack or cool cucumber

>File and polish on fingers and hand cream
